These hand-held hot plates, with dual heated surfaces, are designed for fusing plastic pipe, sheets and other plastic materials.
All models are surfaced with an abrasive-resistant Teflon coating.

 

Temperature is controlled with a dial-type thermostat.  A 4-ft line cord and insulated handle are standard.

A remote digital thermostat is optional at extra cost. We make these hot plates in special sizes and shapes.

(Above/Right) Model HAN 2402 double-sided, Teflon-coated hot plate for butt-fusion welding of polyethylene sheets. This 24 x 1.5 in. plate is controlled with an accurate, remote digital thermostat, with an adjustable range of 70-400F, with heat evenly distributed across all surfaces of the plate. Supported at both ends with insulated handles, it may be mounted to a work table as shown.
